Volunteers Online

Each family in NMYHA is required to volunteer 10 hours during the hockey season for each player in your family.  Each family is also required to give a separate undated $200 deposit check for each player in their family to their team manager as a deposit for volunteer hours.  Failure to perform all of the volunteer hours will result in the cashing of the $200 deposit check and other possible consequences deemed appropriate by the NMYHA Executive Board.  Failure to submit the check(s) to your team manager could result in your child(ren) being benched until it is given. Running the clock, scoreboard, scorebook, or penalty box during non-tournament games and scrimmages DOES NOT satisfy the volunteer requirement because these are team-related activities.

Need a Pin Number?:

    Each family will be assigned one Pin Number that they will use for as many years as they have players playing for the association. Once you have requested a Pin Number, and one has been assigned, you cannot be assigned another number. If you have previously been assigned a Pin Number, and have forgotten that number, Click Here to have your Pin Number emailed to you. If you still need a Pin Number, and one has not yet been assigned to your family, Click Here and complete the form to request a Pin Number. Please note that you must have an email address to submit a Pin Number.

To Volunteer for a Tournament or Scheduled Event:

  1. Select the desired Event from the drop-down box.
  2. Enter your Family Last name and your Pin Number.
  3. Click the Request Opportunities button. This displays all posted volunteer positions for the selected tournament.
  4. Find the position, date and time for which you want to volunteer. Click on Volunteer?.
  5. Adjust your name if required and click on Submit Request.
  6. You will receive a confirming email that will contain the details of the opportunity you are now committed to.
