Hockey is not an end. It is a means to an end. There is nothing inherently good about scoring, forechecking, backchecking, or winning. It is only good if it promotes education and learning. Those that come away with a higher work ethic, honesty, and integrity are the true winners. Hockey does not build character, rather it reveals it. It's these values that do more than anything else we develop that will be the true measure of how successful the NMYHA is.

2008/09 Coaching Applications |

Those interested in coaching during the 2008/09 hockey season must complete and submit a 2008/09 Coach Application. Every coach MUST complete and submit an application (both head and assistant coaches). You will also be required to complete a background check form at the time of your interview. 'A' Level Applicants: Coach interviews for those interested in "A" level positions will be scheduled for the end of May. Please complete and submit your application by either dropping it off in the Hockey Operations mailbox at the CAC or by mailing it to the address on the form. All "A" level applications must be submitted by May 21, 2008.
